Originating as part of the Eveready Battery Company, the Energizer brand was formed in 1980. One of the largest manufacturers of portable power and undoubtably the most recognised battery brand in the world. Energizer Holdings Inc. produces batteries under the Energizer, Eveready, Rayovac and Varta brand names. In North America and Canada, the brand is synonymous with the iconic Energizer Bunny, which has been referenced in popular culture since it’s introduction in 1988. Throughout the rest of the world, the Mr Energizer character is the brand’s most recognised symbol.

Ident’s longstanding relationship with the Eveready brand (since 2000), organically evolved into designing for the Energizer brand. In 2009, Ident was engaged to introduce the new global brand refresh to the Asia Pacific markets. This included everything from packaging to every touchpoint consumers had with the brand, with a focus on the Australian market. In 2013, our design solution for the battery category fixture within Woolworths won a Gold POPAI Award. This achievement was built on solid foundations, having previously won a Bronze POPAI Award in 2005 for a similar fixture for Woolworths.

10 years on, Ident is once again assisting the Energizer global team in introducing a new brand refresh to the world. Over the years we have been a key player in helping the brand launch new initiatives, creating POS campaigns, NPD launches, promotional and seasonal activities.
